A dark fairy tale set in a seaside town (nowhere near the sea), puppeteers Judy and Punch are trying to resurrect their marionette show in an an anarchic village on the brink of mob rule, populated by superstitious inhabitants who enjoy the torment of anyone they believe to be a witch.
