Film Clue - A quiet courtyard, a curious observer, and a view that reveals far more than it should. 

​

Confined to his apartment with a broken leg, a restless photographer finds himself with little to do but watch the world outside his window. As he observes the daily routines of his neighbours across the courtyard, curiosity slowly turns into suspicion. One particular neighbour's behaviour begins to seem increasingly strange, leading him to believe that something terrible may have happened behind closed doors.

What begins as harmless people-watching soon becomes a tense game of observation, secrets and suspicion. With no way to investigate without leaving his apartment, he must rely on what he can see from a distance. But how much can you really trust what you see through someone else's window?

Film Clue - A travelling show turns sinister when the puppets’ master meets his match.

Set in a dark and unsettling version of 17th-century England, this black comedy follows a travelling puppeteer and his talented wife as they perform their popular puppet show in a small, superstitious town. While the performances entertain audiences with their violent humour, the couple’s own relationship is far more troubling. Behind the scenes, jealousy, alcoholism and domestic abuse threaten to destroy their lives, exposing the cruelty and hypocrisy of a society dominated by men.

Blending historical drama, dark comedy and revenge, the film explores themes of female oppression, resilience and the struggle for justice. When a devastating act of violence changes everything, the central character embarks on a journey of survival and retribution, challenging the power structures that have silenced her. With its striking visual style, theatrical atmosphere and bold reinterpretation of traditional puppet theatre, the film offers a provocative and often disturbing examination of gender inequality, resistance and the possibility of reclaiming one’s voice.
